IN HONOUR OF THE FALLEN
In the halls of long shadows, we walk, through time and meaning like dusty passages in a long forgotten mouldering tome. Each footstep we take, leads us onwards, each breath we exhale and inhale draws us further. The story, like time itself continues to be written in the pages of history - these are the Halls of the Fallen, the annals of those who have come before us. Stood with us and in some ways continue to do so. For it is written in fire and knowledge that the deeds we do echo through the ages, being part not only of us, but part of all those that we touch. An imprint, as indellible as breath on frosted glass. Each echo is a chronicle of a life, and it is here in these halls that the books of those who have passed reside. Stay a while and listen to a song, read a poem or walk in the path that one who has fallen trod. For it is in the knowing of others that we can finally measure ourselves. Welcome to the Halls. In memory of Wendy aka Duck of Death It is with great sadness that, I have to say goodbye to a dear friend. Many of you may know her as ‘duck of death’. She passed away of pancreatic cancer. I know a lot of people here were close to her. You lent comfort, support and warm wishes to her along the way. I'm sure she was grateful, as am I, that she had such wonderful friends in her life that appreciated her so much. I loved her dearly, and I will miss her with all my heart. She was truly a remarkable lady.. Armed with great intellect and the degrees to match (which she was always to modest to talk about) she was completely enchanting. She had this seemingly tough exterior but underneath was a very large compassionate heart. She had a fierce wit and a wonderful sense of humor! NO ONE could ever one-up her, and god help you if you tried! lol On top of all this, Wendy was successful and very attractive (a lovely Irish beauty) She was the complete package. I am sorry for those who never got a chance to talk with her, for you will never know what you missed.. I am so sad that she wont be with us anymore.. There really are no words that I can think of that would do her or the memory of her justice. The thing about Wendy is ,she was an ‘experience’.. This sort of incredible happening that you can’t explain but were content just to witness. I know when people pass away, Others will sometimes embellish the truth about a person to make them seem great. All I can say is, she needs no embellishment; she was lavish enough on her own. I will forever be grateful to have had her in my life. So, to Wendy~ wherever you are; I want you to know, I will never forget you. In my heart you will forever be young and beautiful, and you will always be loved. Thank you for all your kind words, laughs, and infinite wisdom. I will miss you. other than I felt myself blessed beyond the mere mortal soul; such a chance
encounter that turned into a most golden friendship....

In memory of Kyle aka Goku, Sage, Lord, Wizard, Bloody Assassin
Goku, Kyle, was an early member of the Blood that Binds. Of him I will remember his youthful exhuberance and his good humor. I will remember best the times when he made me cry from laughter. (He loved running around me like a dervish freezing me over and over again with an ice axe.) Lilith Faire
Kyle was a true friend, good natured and ingenuous, helpful and sympathetic.
