THE ORDER OF DRACOS

PLEDGES:

Everyone who enters THE BLOOD THAT BINDS begins as a PLEDGE, and will begin a trial period for the duration of 2 weeks. During that time, they will have the chance to prove their honor, excellence, and courtesy.. the 3 fundamental traits that every BLOOD BOUND should possess.

INITIATES: DRAGON SQUIRES, DRAGON KNIGHTS

All INITIATES assume that the skill of their peers is developed enough for the individual to endure the rigorous tasks of battle. No INITIATE should be responsible for any other but himself or herself. If an INITIATE risks his or her soul to aid any other clan member, then that INITIATE should receive an honorable mention in the War Scrolls.

SOLDIERS: DRAGOONS, DRAGON RIDERS

INITIATES who prove their worth on the battle field will be moved beyond the normal ranks of their peers and be elevated as SOLDIERS. As a SOLDIER, the dragoneer begins to learn how to harness the strength and will of both blade and breath. The weight of weapons begins to lessen, and the intuitive nature of combat starts to flourish.

WARRIORS: DRAGON SLAYERS, DRAGON MASTERS

By attaining a WARRIOR'S status, the dragoneer will be able to compete against other dragoneers for the grand title of PENDRAGON. Through the rigors and stress of battle, SOLDIERS have been honed into refined killing machines .. this is the blessing (and curse) that all WARRIORS bear. There is no weapon that a WARRIOR does not feel kin to ...

WARLORDS: DRAGON LORDS, DRAGON MAGNATES

These elders are WARLORDS who have attained prestige through the test of arms, and are recognized as lords of the battle field. WARLORDS are also burdened by the weight of leadership, and they are expected to take new INITIATES under their wings and help them develop their battle skills so that they can survive on their own.

ELITE GUARD: GUARDIANS OF FLAME, PRAETORIANS OF DRACOS

These guards are the elite ... the best of the very best, and they deserve the respect and admiration they get. You will encounter no deadlier opponent than one who bears the arms of the ELITE GUARD. If you make an enemy of them, you can only hope to die well. However, if you make them a friend, you will find your skills improving by VAST leaps and bounds.

AMBASSADOR: THE PENDRAGON
THE PENDRAGON is a title given to the premier WARRIOR, WARLORD, or ELITE GUARD ... he or she has proven his or her dedication and prowess to the cause and crusade of THE ORDER OF DRACOS. See The Gathering of Cinders for more information on how to acquire this title. ONLY ONE DRAGONEER WILL HOLD THIS TITLE AT A TIME, and THE PENDRAGON will be elected each month during The Gathering of Cinders. Only WARRIORS, WARLORDS, and ELITE GUARDS may compete for this title.

LOOKS THAT KILL

Every dragoneer within The Blood That Binds is expected to wear the proper battle attire. Even though armor is functional, a beautifully armored warrior cuts a striking figure on the battle field. Each dragoneer is expected to keep his or her uniform as pristine as possible, and if a dragoneer sports tainted armor, it may reflect poorly on his or her image. Show DRAKANIAN-world your personal pride by not only refining your battle and diplomacy skills, but by being a snappy dresser as well. Below are the proper colors for each rank, and in addition the codes for each color are listed.
